"Walk in the spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh... The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control." Galatians 5:16, 22-23

Never Give Up
That's Right. Never give up. Never stop praying for your friends, for your family and for those you love. Never lose site of God and His will. Never stop trying to be more like Him. And when the battles are raging, just remember that the war is already won.
Psalm 29:11 "The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace." |
Fix Your Eyes on Heaven
Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of the God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."
Each time you look up at the sky, be reminded of this verse and spend time thanking God for His sacrifice; thank Him for the mercy He pours out on you every day, and the grace he freely gives.

Joshua 1:8
Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Remember Who is in Control
This picture, entitled Noahs Ark, causes me to remember that when the waters are raging and the sea is opening to swallow me, God is in control and He holds the master plan. Trust Him, even when His plans aren't your plans.
Deut. 31:8 "The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you or forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

The Key To Life is Balance
How can we fight the good fight if we don't prepare ourselves for battle?
We need to fight, yes, but first, we need to soak in the presence of God and let Him prepare us, or we'll run out of steam if we try and do it on our own.
Remember to live a balanced life: don't use all your energy at work, because it takes a lot of steam to run a houshold.

What Can You Do in Your Church?
PRAY!!!!
2 Chronicles 7:14-16 "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and sek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. I have chosen and consecrated this temple so that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will always be there." |
Psalms 40:8 "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord stands forever."

Dance
2 Samuel 6:14;21-22 "And David danced before the Lord with all his might . . . [celebrating] before the Lord." And he said, "I will become even more undignified than this."
So as David danced before the Lord with all his might he was not influenced by the opinions of others. Follow his example and live your life as a dance of worship for the Lord, not choreographed by the thoughts of others, but through your passion for the Lord. |
Reflect
Psalm 23:2-3a "He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores me soul."
I find it particularly important to stop and reflect on life and the goodness of God. Concentrate on His victories for at least an hour to every ten minutes spent concentrating on our losses, and you'll be simple amazed. While you're at it, count your blessings!
